Montessori in the City comes with a high recommendation from me and my husband. The school is highly secured and ALL staff are qualified and are excellent care takers and educators. It’s not only a daycare, staff educate the children. The school is very clean and definitely well organized.
Our ten year old daughter attended the school from infancy to preschool and currently our three year old attends the school. I can honestly say, we have never had any issues with the school, owners or staff. We trust them whole heartedly.
The owners and staff always make themselves available to talk to you and to share your child’s milestones with you. I could not imagine going to any other school than Montessori in the City, Inc.

We chose Lincoln Plaza Montessori for many reasons. Our first visit was terrific. I thought the staff, including the directors and teachers, were all very warm and nurturing. I felt comfortable asking questions and calling to check in (during those first weeks). I loved the set up of the rooms and all of the kids appeared to be having a GREAT time. I thought the facility was wonderful. Very clean and organized. The outdoor play area is perfect for all ages, even the little ones. The location was very convenient – I wanted to be close, if anything came up. And lastly, Lincoln Plaza Montessori came very highly recommended from many parents and coworkers.

I was referred to Montessori in the City by another parent. After touring the school, I decided this was the school for our children. For starters they provide cloth diapers, baby food from scratch, rotate clean toys, encourage baby sign language and more.
Our girls have attended full-time since they were about 5 months. Montessori in the City has helped shape who they are today. They enjoy learning, being challenged, meeting people and are confident. This year our youngest child again enjoyed participating in the yearly winter and summer shows; the lessons on plants, insects, the ocean and planet; the phonics lessons; the gymnastic classes; and the field trips to two farms and an ice-skating show. My daughters also fondly remember the staff that has cared for them.
My oldest daughter is entering 3rd grade. Her teachers note that she’s an A student but stress that more importantly is how well she interacts with others, how she handles challenges and her positive attitude towards learning. Thank you.
